St. Patrick dropped down to 6-5 on Tuesday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 9-0 to the St. Stanislaus Rock-a-Chaws. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Fighting Irish have suffered against the Rock-a-Chaws since February 20, 2021.

As for St. Stanislaus, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3. That nine-run margin sets a new team best for them this season.

For St. Stanislaus' part, Jackson Orozco tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Orozco has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Ayden Dartez was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run. That's the most doubles he has posted since back in March of 2025. Another player making a difference was Tate Murphy, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base.

While St. Patrick had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
