Baseball Recap: Lake-Lehman Takes a Loss

Lake-Lehman fell victim to Wyoming Area and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 2-0. The Knights were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Warriors earlier this season, when they won 6-3.

This is the second loss in a row for Lake-Lehman and nudges their season record down to 8-6. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for Wyoming Area, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season.

Lake-Lehman will square off against Wyoming Seminary College Prep at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Knights' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Blue Knights have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season. As for Wyoming Area, they will be playing at home against Hanover Area at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
