Meanwhile, Myrtle Beach entered their tilt with Carolina Forest on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 4-2. That's two games straight that Myrtle Beach have won by exactly two goals.

Myrtle Beach's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for North Myrtle Beach, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 8-1.

North Myrtle Beach couldn't quite get it done against Myrtle Beach in their previous matchup back in May of 2025 as they fell 3-1. Can the Chiefs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
