Basketball Recap: Southampton Takes a Loss

Southampton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 51-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Arcadia Firebirds. That's two games in a row now that the Indians have lost by exactly 13 points.

Southampton's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Arcadia, they moved to 2-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Southampton and Windsor will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 5:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025. Arcadia will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Washington at 12:30 p.m. on December 27th.
