They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Caldwell County. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Hopkinsville of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Hopkinsville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Caldwell County, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-1.
