Volleyball Game Preview: Mexia Black Cats vs. Buffalo Bison

The Mexia Black Cats will take on the Buffalo Bison at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mexia is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

Mexia lost 3-0 to Fairfield on Friday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-9, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Buffalo came up short against Elkhart on Friday, falling 3-0.

Buffalo was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-23, 25-20.

Buffalo's loss dropped their record down to 22-11. As for Mexia, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-17.

Mexia beat Buffalo 3-1 in their previous meeting back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Black Cats since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
