It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Hoboken ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Ferris Bulldogs. This was payback for Hoboken, who suffered a 4-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The victory made it two in a row for Hoboken and bumps their season record up to 3-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those two matchups. As for Ferris, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Hoboken is set to square off against their familiar foe Snyder at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Ferris will take on rival McNair Academic at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
