Softball Recap: Walla Walla Falls to Moses Lake in First Game of Season

Walla Walla unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Moses Lake Mavericks on Thursday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Walla Walla saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anna DeLaRosa ?25, who scored a run while going 3-for-4. Another was Addie Bowen ?26, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.

Walla Walla will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Chiawana at 5:00 p.m. on March 25th. As for Moses Lake, they will venture away from home to face off against Mt. Spokane at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
