Football Recap: Linn Wildcats vs. St. James Tigers
Friday just wasn't the day for Linn's offense. They were dealt a 68-0 defeat at the hands of the St. James Tigers on Friday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Linn wouldn't let St. James keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Linn can thank Connor Knoll and Madison Wood for forcing both of them.
Linn's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for St. James, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Linn will face off against Windsor at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Linn focused on turnovers this week as team gave up five on Friday. As for St. James, they have the luxury of staying home for another week and will welcome Hermann at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
