After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Thunderbird, Greenway was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They blew past the Moon Valley Rockets 3-0. The Demons not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 8th (when they won 3-0).

Greenway was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-13, 25-17.

Vanessa Dreher paced Greenway's offense, picking up eight kills. Dreher got some help from Haidyn Nelson and her 30 assists. Nelson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Greenway's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 9-11. As for Moon Valley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-11.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Greenway is set to challenge their familiar foe Shadow Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Moon Valley will face off against rival Paradise Honors at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
