Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pewamo-Westphalia). They were the clear victors by a 22-0 margin over the Potterville Vikings on Thursday. With that victory, the Pirates brought their scoring average up to 7.1 runs per game.

Brandt Kramer made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out six batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk).
