Fairview dropped their record down to 8-7 on Thursday, which also ended the team's six-game streak of wins. They lost  14-5 to the General McLane Lancers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  loss the Tigers have suffered  since April 9th.
As for General McLane, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-13-1 record  this season. Considering they have won six contests by more than six  runs this season, Thursday's  blowout was nothing new.
For General McLane's part,  Kylie Fleek made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched. Fleek was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-5 with one  triple, two  RBI,  and one  run.
 In other batting news,  Avery Lorah was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with four  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI. Those  four  runs gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Giana Thompson, who  went 2-for-5 with four  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.
As of now, neither Fairview nor General McLane have any future games scheduled.
