FAITH HomeSchool extended their losing streak to three on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 1-4 in the process. They fell 12-8 to the Merritt Academy Mustangs. On the bright side, the eight- run performance marked the Falcons' highest-scoring matchup to date.

As for Merritt Academy, the win got them back to even at 2-2. The victory continues a trend for them in their matchups with FAITH HomeSchool: they've now won five in a row.

For Merritt Academy's part, the team relied heavily on Ethan Wolfe, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Caden Siler, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.

Looking ahead, FAITH HomeSchool will square off against Bethany Christian at 6:00 p.m. on May 3. As for Merritt Academy, they will challenge University Liggett at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
