Basketball Recap: Quitman Beats Forest for Their Fourth Straight Win

Quitman had won three straight games and KIARRA THOMPSON did her part to make it four on Tuesday. The Quitman Panthers walked away with a 49-36 victory over the Forest Bearcats thanks in part to THOMPSON, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten boards. That's the most points she has posted since back in November of 2024.

Quitman is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Forest, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-9.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Morton the next time they take the court. Quitman will host Morton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Forest will host them at 6:00 p.m. on January 21st.
