Softball Recap: Boston English Snaps Nine-Game Streak of Wins at Home

After flying high against New Mission last Tuesday, Boston English came back down to earth. The Eagles fell 8-3 to Excel/Burke on Monday. The matchup marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Shelsea Jimenez made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with six stolen bases and one run. Alba Rodriguez was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Boston English's defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Excel/Burke beat the Eagles by a score of 16-15 later that day.
