Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Tindall Ahrens and Corrine Brown Lead Comfort to Victory

Comfort posted their closest win since August 14th on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Bandera BULLDOGS 2-1. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-0 win on Tuesday.

Comfort was led to victory by Corrine Brown and Tindall Ahrens. Brown had 25 assists and 11 digs, while Ahrens had 12 digs, ten kills, and two aces. That's the most digs Ahrens has posted over her last six matches. Another player making a difference was Jordan Judkins, who had ten digs and seven kills.

Bandera's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kyra Blake, who had 12 digs and 11 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Pyper Barnard, who had nine kills, five digs, two aces, and one block.

The victory made it two in a row for Comfort and bumps their season record up to 10-4. As for Bandera, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.

Comfort has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Northeast Early College on the 22nd. As for Bandera, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Sam Houston on the 23rd.
