Cape Hatteras' lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kylie Philips, who scored 6 points along with 7 rebounds. Elizabeth Fairbanks was another key contributor, scoring 6 points along with 5 rebounds.
Aubrey Phanton was the offensive standout of the match as she dropped a double-double on 14 points and 15 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Josephine Voight, who scored 11 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
Cape Hatteras' loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for First Flight, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
