The Osceola Kowboys will take on the Harmony Longhorns in a tournament on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Osceola took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Celebration a 15-0 shutout. The Kowboys haven't had any issues with the Storm recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Audrey Stewart made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over four innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (five). She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Tenley Dawson, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024. Destiny Ferrer was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Osceola always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .692. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last matchup, Harmony made sure to put some runs up on the board against Gateway on Monday. The Longhorns put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 15-0 victory.
Hailey Baker looked comfortable as she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Harmony got a massive performance out of Alyssa Acosta, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Lindsay Green, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.
Harmony is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Osceola, their victory bumped their record up to 11-6.
Osceola's speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's contest. The Kowboys have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.4 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Harmony, though, as they've been averaging only 1.2 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Osceola continue to outrun the ball?
Osceola came out on top in a nail-biter against Harmony when the teams last played back in May of 2024, sneaking past 4-2. Will the Kowboys repeat their success, or do the Longhorns have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
