Softball Recap: Northridge Finds Home Field Redemption Against Sipsey Valley

There's no place like home for Northridge, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Sipsey Valley Bears on Saturday. This was a revenge game for the Jaguars: when they faced off against the Bears last Tuesday, they had to take a 16-6 defeat.

Anna Grace Reed was excellent, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3. She also brought in two RBI, marking her first of the season. Mills Hitchner was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Northridge's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Sipsey Valley, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-5.

Looking ahead, Northridge will welcome Hillcrest at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give Hillcrest their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. As for Sipsey Valley, they will challenge Tuscaloosa County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
