Softball Recap: Benjamin Franklin Finds Home Field Redemption Against Tonopah Valley

There's no place like home for Benjamin Franklin, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Tonopah Valley Phoenix with a sharp 26-16 victory on Saturday. Considering the Chargers have won seven games by more than nine runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Benjamin Franklin got a massive performance out of Jaelyn Castaneda, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. Castaneda is on a roll when it comes to triples, as she's now hit at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Ellie Dudley, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with four runs, four RBI, and one stolen base.
