Baseball Recap: Rehoboth Christian Sets Scoring Season-High Against Oak Grove Classical Academy

Rehoboth Christian was forced to take a big defeat against they on Tuesday, they got the better of them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Oak Grove Classical Academy Owls as they made off with a 20-13 victory. The Lynx's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Rehoboth Christian got a massive performance out of Jude Christensen, who got on base in three of his six plate appearances with one home run, three stolen bases, and four RBI. Christensen also scored two runs, which is notable because the Lynx are 4-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 3-7 otherwise. Jonathan Zylstra was another key player, going 3-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Rehoboth Christian lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

With the win, Rehoboth Christian broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-8. As for Oak Grove Classical Academy, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 7-8.

Coincidentally, Rehoboth Christian and Oak Grove Classical Academy will both be playing Hozho Academy the next time they take the field. The Lynx will host the Wolves at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Owls will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
