Basketball Recap: Southern Rams vs. Mountain Ridge Miners
Southern fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Mountain Ridge on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Mountain Ridge Miners by a score of 67-65. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Rams have suffered since December 12, 2023.

When it comes to explaining why Southern lost, don't look at Jared Haskiell. Despite the final result, he posted 36 points. Haskiell's evening made it 16 games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points.
