Basketball Recap: Waterville Takes a Loss

Waterville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They took a 54-40 bruising from the Mount View Mustangs. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-41 two weeks ago.

Waterville's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Mount View, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Mount View beat Waterville by a score of 54-40 on Friday.
