Football Recap: Regis Sets Scoring Season-High Against Corbett

Regis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Corbett Cardinals, falling 57-35. On the bright side, the 35- point effort marked the Rams' highest-scoring game to date.

Regis' defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Corbett, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Regis will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Colton at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. As for Corbett, they will take on Rainier at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
