Softball Recap: Hammonton Extends Winning Streak to Two

Hammonton won the last time they faced Middle Township and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Blue Devils never let the Panthers get on the board and left with a 9-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blue Devils.

Gracie Ravenkamp made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Leah Alexander, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Hannah Hines, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI.

Hammonton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since the start of last season.

Hammonton's record is now 10-2. As for Middle Township, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Hammonton will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Panthers: the pair will be back at it again later today.
