Christiansburg has gone 9-1 against Pulaski County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Blue Demons will welcome the Cougars at 6:00 p.m. Christiansburg is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.4 runs per game this season.

Friday just wasn't the day for Christiansburg's offense. They came up short against Salem on Friday, falling 7-0. The Blue Demons' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Pulaski County waltzed into their game on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They beat the Terriers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 10-6.

Shelby Dobbins was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Carly Hight, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles.

Pulaski County was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .483. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Pulaski County pushed their record up to 7-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Christiansburg, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-4.

Tuesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Christiansburg hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .377. However, it's not like Pulaski County struggles in that department as they've averaged .372. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.

Christiansburg beat Pulaski County 3-0 in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Do the Blue Demons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cougars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
