Baseball Recap: St. Stephen's Episcopal Takes a Loss

After flying high against New Braunfels Thunder last Tuesday, St. Stephen's Episcopal came back down to earth. The Spartans fell just short of the Cistercian Hawks by a score of 1-0 on Friday. The match marked the first time this year in which the Spartans were not able to get on the board.

St. Stephen's Episcopal saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Thomas Connor, who went 2-for-3 with one double. That double marked the first that Connor hit this season.

St. Stephen's Episcopal dropped their record down to 2-5 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Cistercian, the win got them back to even at 8-8.
