East Noble is 0-10 against Leo since May of 2018 but things could change on Monday. The Knights will host the Lions at 5:30 p.m. East Noble will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
East Noble barely beat Wawasee the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Knights never let the Warriors get on the board and left with a 12-0 win on Saturday. Considering the Knights have won seven contests by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Abby Alwine made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, Aubrey Helmkamp was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, three doubles, and one RBI. That's the most runs she has posted over her last 11 games. Another player making a difference was Shaye Ritchie, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and one run.
East Noble was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .435. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .429 or higher in three consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Leo waltzed into their contest on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Saints by a score of 10-7.
Leo let Carley Funk and Malina Lape run wild. Funk got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, two RBI, and one double, while Lape went 1-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. That double was Lape's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Connally, who earned one RBI, one run, and one stolen base.
East Noble's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Leo, their victory bumped their record up to 15-3.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Monday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. East Noble has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.2 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Leo struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.8 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
