Softball Recap: Ledyard Colonels vs. Woodstock Academy Centaurs
Ledyard had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Woodstock Academy Centaurs by a score of 11-6 on Monday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Colonels considering their two-run performance the game before.
Alexia Lemmon spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned (and one unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up seven Ks.
