Baseball Recap: Eastview Lightning vs. Eagan Wildcats
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Farmington, Eastview was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They skirted past the Eagan Wildcats 7-6. This was payback for the Lightning, who suffered a 4-3 loss the last time these two teams met.
The team relied heavily on Zach Week, who scored three runs while going 3-for-4. Ben Schmitz was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
Eastview was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .483. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Eagan only posted a batting average of .308.
