Softball Recap: Newton Takes a Loss

Newton lost against Parsippany Hills on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Braves came up short against the Vikings, falling 15-5. The Braves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Newton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Parsippany Hills, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-4 record this season.

Newton will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Vernon at 4:00 p.m. The Vikings will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Braves surely won't give up without a fight. As for Parsippany Hills, they will head out to square off against West Morris Mendham at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings are facing the Minutemen at the right time seeing as the Minutemen are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
