Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Iroquois). They put the hurt on Eisenhower with a sharp 12-2 victory on Friday. The Braves not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 29, 2024 (when they won 17-7).

Like Youngsville, Iroquois also got a great game from a two-way player: Liam Gehrlein-Carpenter. Iroquois' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Youngsville hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .315. It's a different story for Iroquois, though, as they've only averaged .226. Will they be able to contain Youngsville's hitters?

Youngsville skirted past Iroquois 3-1 in their previous meeting back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
