Baseball Recap: Garfield Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Garfield had lost six games straight , but after bumping their record up to 9-8 on Friday that streak is in the rearview. They came out on top against the LaBrae Vikings by a score of 2-0 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). For LaBrae's part, Easton Armstrong was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with three stolen bases. Alex Prouty also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
