Football Recap: Ponchatoula Starts Season with Loss at Home

Ponchatoula unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were just a hair shy of victory on Friday and fell 27-26 to the Walker Wildcats. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ponchatoula will venture away from home to face off against Dutchtown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Walker, they will head out to take on Woodlawn-B.R. at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
