The Mundy's Mill Tigers won the last time they faced the Lovejoy Wildcats, and things went their way on Saturday too. Mundy's Mill came out on top against Lovejoy by a score of 53-46. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Mundy's Mill.
Mundy's Mill's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dajuan Riddle, who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Orlando Favors, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds.
Mundy's Mill has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season. As for Lovejoy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.
Mundy's Mill will square off against Woodward Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Woodward Academy will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Mundy's Mill surely won't give up without a fight. Lovejoy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
