Chireno waltzed into their game on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 59-47 win over the Brookeland Wildcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 56-48 back in November.

Chireno has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.6 points per game. As for Brookeland, they moved to 18-4 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Chireno will head out to square off against Shelbyville at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Brookeland and Burkeville will compete for holiday cheer at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
