Village Christian is 7-2 against Whittier Christian since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Crusaders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Heralds at 5:00 p.m. Village Christian will be strutting in after a victory while Whittier Christian will be coming in after a loss.

On Thursday, Village Christian got the win against Heritage Christian by a conclusive 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Crusaders in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won six in a row.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-3, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Whittier Christian came up short against Maranatha on Thursday and fell 3-1.

Whittier Christian was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Maranatha work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-27, 25-18, 25-21.

Whittier Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season. As for Village Christian, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-13.

Village Christian took their win against Whittier Christian when the teams last played two weeks ago by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Crusaders repeat their success, or do the Heralds have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
