Central is 7-0 against Sunnyside since February of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Central Grizzlies will finish 2024 at home by hosting the Sunnyside Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Saturday, Central earned a 3-1 win over Paso Robles.

Meanwhile, Sunnyside entered their tilt with Mendota on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They beat the Aztecs by a goal, winning 2-1.

Sergio Quevedo and Juan Lopez scored both of Sunnyside's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Sunnyside's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Central, their win bumped their record up to 3-5-2.

Central took their victory against Sunnyside in their previous matchup back in November of 2021 by a conclusive 4-1. Will Central repeat their success, or does Sunnyside have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
