Recap: Malad Dragons vs. Aberdeen Tigers
The Malad Dragons's game last Thursday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They walked away with a 55-43 win over Aberdeen. This was a revenge contest for Malad, as the team was forced to settle for a 47-46 defeat when these two played two weeks ago.
Despite the loss, Aberdeen still got an impressive performance from Wesley Nelson, who scored 12 points along with three steals. Nelson is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Shackelford, who scored eight points.
Malad's win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-16. As for Aberdeen, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.
Malad does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Aberdeen also has no future games currently scheduled.
