Volleyball Recap: Wood River's Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Four + How To Watch

Wood River entered their tilt with Mountain Home on Wednesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Wood River was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-9, 25-17.

Ellie Sandoz paced Wood River's offense, picking up 11 kills. Sandoz got some help from Story Sharp and her 21 assists. Lucy Drougas controlled things from the service line, finishing with nine aces.

Wood River now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Mountain Home, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Coming up, Wood River will take on Sun Valley Community in a tournament on Saturday. As for Mountain Home, they will face off against Burley at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
