Baseball Recap: McArthur Takes a Loss

McArthur lost against Pompano Beach back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The McArthur Mustangs came up short against the Pompano Beach Golden Tornadoes, falling 13-3. The Mustangs just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Dylan Dess made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Corey Estes also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

McArthur's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Pompano Beach, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

McArthur has already played their next match, an 11-1 loss against Nova on the 24th. As for Pompano Beach, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 18-3 victory against Northeast on the 24th.
