Warrior Run has gone 9-1 against Muncy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Defenders will host the Indians at 4:30 p.m. Warrior Run will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.

While Warrior Run's win against Mifflinburg wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Defenders had just enough and edged out the Wildcats 3-1.

Landon Polcyn spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up ten Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Griffen Harrington, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. Isaiah Betz was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 17 runs the game before, Muncy was a bit more limited in their contest on Saturday. They came up short against Montgomery, falling 13-1. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Red Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Warrior Run pushed their record up to 17-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.6 runs over those games. As for Muncy, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Everything went Warrior Run's way against Muncy in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Warrior Run made off with a 14-1 victory. Do the Defenders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Indians turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
