Basketball Game Preview: Glasgow Dragons vs. Tatnall Hornets

The Glasgow Dragons will take on the Tatnall Hornets at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Glasgow is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Delaware's top teams: Seaford, who was ranked 12th at the time (Glasgow was ranked 22nd). Glasgow took a 75-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of Seaford on Friday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Wednesday (56), the Dragons still had to take the loss.

Glasgow might have lost, but man, Jahsir Robertson-Hamilton was a machine: he posted 20 points and six rebounds. The match was Robertson-Hamilton's fifth in a row with at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Angel Morrow, who had nine points.

Meanwhile, Tatnall came up short against Brandywine on Monday and fell 68-60. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Glasgow's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points over those games. As for Tatnall, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.

Glasgow beat Tatnall 57-44 in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Does Glasgow have another victory up their sleeve, or will Tatnall turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
