Baseball Recap: Pine Bluff Comes Up Short

Pine Bluff's last matchup with Hot Springs could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Thursday. The Fighting Zebras lost 14-4 to the Trojans. The defeat continues a trend for the Fighting Zebras in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost seven in a row.

Pine Bluff saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kylin Sims, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases.

Pine Bluff's loss dropped their record down to 1-22. As for Hot Springs, they moved to 3-23 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

As of now, neither Pine Bluff nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
