Granville came tearing into Friday's matchup with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.9 points) and they left with even more momentum. They snuck past the Zanesville Blue Devils with a 50-46 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Blue Aces also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Zanesville lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Lucca Wood, who went 6 of 11 en route to 16 points. Mikey Johnson was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Granville pushed their record up to 10-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Zanesville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-8.
