Brooks and Morgan Park are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mustangs at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Brooks has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since April 15.

On Wednesday, Brooks didn't have quite enough to beat Solorio and fell 9-8.

David Richardson was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Justin Slaughter, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Morgan Park). They never let Lindblom get on the board and left with an 18-0 win on Wednesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Morgan Park's win bumped their record up to 11-6-2. As for Brooks, their loss dropped their record down to 7-16.
