Basketball Recap: Discovery Takes a Loss

Discovery was the 65-51 winner over Mill Creek when they last played one another back in January of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Discovery Titans fell to the Mill Creek Hawks 41-37. The match marked the Titans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Discovery dropped their record down to 5-5 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Mill Creek, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Discovery will take on Dacula in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Monday at. As for Mill Creek, it'll be Battle of the Birds when the Mill Creek Hawks face off against the Rabun Gap-Nacoochee Eagles at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
