Basketball Recap: Arlington Christian Takes a Loss

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 72-42, which was the final score in Arlington Christian's tilt against the Spencer Greenwave on Saturday. The game marked Arlington Christian's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Jamarion Griffin had an outrageously good game for Spencer as he went 5-for-11 to rack up 18 points along with five boards and four steals. Another player making a difference was Izael Brownlee, who posted five points in addition to seven rebounds and five steals.

Arlington Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Spencer, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Arlington Christian will challenge Creekside Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Spencer, they are headed away from home for the first time to square off against Jordan at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
