Intermountain Christian entered their tilt with American Prep WV on Tuesday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They breezed by the American Prep WV Eagles to the tune of 57-11. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 23 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Intermountain Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Elaine Lunsford, who went 7 for 9 en route to 14 points and eight rebounds. Lunsford has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played. Bella DuBois was another key player, putting up 13 points and four steals.

Intermountain Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 17 offensive boards in four consecutive games.

Intermountain Christian pushed their record up to 16-4 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.9 points per game. As for American Prep WV, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.

Intermountain Christian will square off against Salt Lake Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Intermountain Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests. American Prep WV has already played their next matchup, a 42-15 victory against Wasatch Academy on the 6th.
