Basketball Recap: Scott Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Rikki Bailey and Kelsey Harper

Scott lost against Logan back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Scott Skyhawks lost to the Logan Wildcats on the road by a 62-46 margin.

Scott's loss came despite strong showings from Kelsey Harper and Rikki Bailey. Harper dropped a double-double on 19 points and 17 boards, while Bailey posted ten points. The dominant performance gave Harper a new career-high in rebounds. Another player making a difference was Haven Tomblin, who put up nine points and six assists.

Scott has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Logan, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-4.

Scott didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, an 81-46 win against Lincoln County on the 16th. Logan has also already played their next contest (against Philip Barbour), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
